Sumbal:-Sumbal One Seniour Congress Women Leader and Muncipal Counseller of Sumbal Municipal Committee is taking benefits under different schemes in the Social Welfare Department. Her husband is 38 years old on adhaar card while as he is taking old age pension, while as two of their kids are taking benefit in the same department under physically challenged persons while as they aren’t disable according to the department.
District Social Welfare Officier while speaking to media said that we have initiate an enquiry and the team has been framed. From initial verification it has been proved that she and her family members aren’t eligible in any of such scheme. She might had produced fake documents which will be verified soon. He how’ve said department has freeze their account initially and legal proceedings will follow in this regard.
When contacted tehsil social warfare officer Nazima agreed and said that they have been the department’s beneficiaries while as they’re found ineligible.
Meanwhile SDM Sambal while taking cognizance of this thing he has ordered Tehsil social welfare to initiate legal proceedings and the amount may be taken aback from said ineligible beneficiaries.
Worth to mention is that there are many genuine cases pending seeking old age pension and handicapped pension who have been ignore in the department.
