Ganderbal17 Jan (KNZ):Fake news Circulated on Social Media about Death of Ganderbal Youth Mr Mohd Rafiq S/O Ghulam Mohd Parrey Resident of Nagbal, Ganderbal who was injured Sunday in Sugan area in Shopain where he had reportedly gone to participate in the funeral of slain commander Zeenat-ul-Islam.
Rafiq was hit with a bullet when government forces allegedly opened fire on mourners near the funeral ground.
SSP Ganderbal Mr Khalil Poswal told that this Misinformation has been disseminated by some miscreant to create law and order problem.
It is clarified that said person is alive and undergoing treatment at SKIMS, Soura.
General public is requested not to pay heed to such rumours. Action will be taken against rumour mongers.SSP Ganderbal.KNZ
