Kulgam, Apr 06 (KS) : Police in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district Police has issued a statement that a fake news is being circulated on social media claiming that an encounter has started at Lakdipora. However, they have clarified that no such incident has taken place in the district.
An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that the public is urged to not pay attention to these rumors, and the authorities have warned that strict action will be taken against those spreading false information.
The officer said that It is important to rely on verified sources of news and exercise caution while consuming information online. (KS)
