Demands departmental enquiry for reopening their cases

A high level meeting of Employees joint action committee was held at Jammu under the chair of senior JCC leader and president EJAC Abdul Qayoom Wani.

In the meeting the issue of nine terminated employees during 2016 unrest was threadbare discussed and every leader showed his serious concern on the plight of these poor employees.

Wani said that before terminating any employee it is mandatory for the concerned authorities to conduct the departmental enquiry besides listening to the concerned before taking any final decision and the mare allegations and FIR’s against the employees are not sufficient for punishment .

He said that EJAC has represented this case before the administration and raised the voice for providing the justice to the terminated employees. Now we once again request the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, worthy chief secretary B B Vyas for their personal intervention, so that their cases may be reopened and departmental enquiry should be conducted to surface out the reality, so that the poor employees may get justice and their families will come out from the situation of starvation.

Wani said that EJAC has decided to apprise the Chief Minister about the plight of these employees.
