Srinagar:Bazm-e-shar O Adab Sangrama held an online program Qadawar on its Whats app group along with other social media platforms. “Qadawar” is
held periodically and the recent one which was its 10th episode was held on
20th June at 8:10 pm.
In this program a well known personality is made “Qadaawar of the day” and participants ask him the questions regarding
his personal life and professional experiences.
Therefore it is an interactive
online session where a celebrity shares his experiences with participants and thus with public.
Qadaawar for 10th episode was the well known singer of Kashmir valley Mr. Gulzar Ahmad Ganaie.
Program started with welcome speech by president Bazm-e-shar O Adab Sangrama Mr. yousuf Sameem who recalled the recent achievements
of Bazm besides welcoming the guests and participants of the occasion.
“We will be working with same zeal and zest, be it online or offline”, he
said.
After the president’s welcome speech, host of the program Mr. Mudassir Mirchal uploaded questions in audio format sent by participants one by one, in response to which the Qadaawar responded and shared his views.
Questions were asked regarding Qadaawar Mr. Gulzar Ahmad Ganaie’s personal life as well as present and future of kashmiri folk singing.
Questions were asked by Mr. Tariq Ahmad Tariq, Mr. Syeed Rashid Jawhar, Mr. Riyaz ul Hassan, Mr. Bashir Chirag , Mr. Athar farooq,Mr. Shakir Shafi, Mr. Gulshan Badrani, Mr. Shahbaz Hakbari, Mr. Fayaz Tilgami.
It’s worth mentioning here that this 10th episode of Qadaawar was held in
collaboration with Daily Tameel-i-Irshad, Daily Sangarmal Srinagar, Daily
Srinagar times, Daily Kashmir Tribune Weekly Shaharbeen and All India Radio Srinagar.
At the end of the program, host Mr. Mudassir Mirchal uploaded Qadaawar
Mr. Gulzar Ahmad Ganaie’s audio recording in which the singer talked in brief about his personal life, early education and his career as a singer.
Finally the program was concluded by Secretary Bazm-e-shar o adab
sangrama Mr. G.M. Zahid’s word of thanks.
