Will start bus service for students in coming days:Officials

Ganderbal 24 May (KNZ):Female students from Gutlibagh held protest and blocked bailey bridge at wayil in Ganderbal district,demanding bus service for them.
The students of Gutlibagh and adjoining areas blocked the vehicular movement on Srinagar leh highway road for couple of hours.
Amid sloganeering in their favour, the protesting students said that they have to suffer a lot due to shortage of buses on Gutlibagh to Ganderbal route and many a times they miss out the college as bus operators refuse to board them in view of over loading.
The protesting students also alleged over-charging by the mini-bus and bus operators, adding that the bus and mini-bus operators do not charge half-fare from the students which is violation of the Government norms.
On getting information, police team and civil administration officers rushed to the spot, pacified the agitating students and assured them the matter has been taken up with Motor Vehicles Department and concerned officers have agreed to start a bus service for students.KNZ
