Budgam 19 Dec【KNZ】: A police station in Beerwha area of central Kashmir Budgam was damaged in devastating fire on Tuesday morning; official said that fire broke out in the two storied building of the police station at Beerwha in the wee hours at 03:30 on Tuesday morning.
However, before the fire tenders could douse the leaping flames, visible to entire town, fire spread to entire building.
Two stories building were completely damaged in the fire; they said that other side of building suffered partial damage.
As per statement of SSP Budgam the fire was starts from the wireless operator’s room, he said that we are investigating the cause of fire which is not being ascertained yet he said record and other equipment in the police station are safe some damage were seen due to fire and water.
Fire and emergency service said that fire tenders were rushed from Budgam and other parts of area to extinguish the fire and no loss or injured in the incident “he added.”
