Awantipora: Jammu and Kashmir Police Monday said that they arrested five Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Jaish-e-Mohammad militant group.
A police official told Rising Kashmir that they had arrested an ex-militant Sajad Ahmad Bhat of Wuyan area of district Pulwama.
“Upon questioning he disclosed that, he along with other four people were involved in recent grenade attack on CRPF patrolling party in Pampore,” the police official informed Rising Kashmir.
The police official identified the other four OGWS as Umar Gani Sheikh, Jan Mohammad Khan, Muzaffar Hussein Bhat of Pampore and Owais Ahmad of Khrew
