Flash: JCO killed as militants attack search party in Budgam

Kashmir Oct 09 [KNZ]: A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) was killed in Beerwah town of central Kashmir’s Budgam district when militants attacked army’s search party.

The army had launched the search operation in the area after receiving inputs about the presence of militants.

As the army was conducting the search operation, the hiding militants fired upon army resulting in death of a JCO, army sources said.
