Srinagar, Dec 12 : Government Forces on Wednesday morning laid a siege to Shopian village in southern region of Kashmir.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that a joint team of Army, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search in Malikgubd area of Shopian and started door to door search operation.
Official sources told this newspaper following specific information about presence of suspecious movement searches has been launched.
Pertinently earlier this day a search operation was conducted at Dearpora village of Shopian which ended on peaceful note.
