Fresh snowfall, shooting stones close Srinagar-Jammu highway

Srinagar, Mar 12 (GNS): Srinagar-Jammu highway was closed on Thursday following fresh snowfall and shooting along the thoroughfare.

Reports reaching GNS said that fresh snowfall was reported at Jawahar Tunnel and shooting stones and landslides occurred in Keri area of Udhampur.
“The Jammu-Srinagar highway remains still blocked due to landslide, shooting stones at several places. Men and machinery on job to restore the traffic,” an official said. (GNS)
