Funeral prayers in absentia for slain civilians offered in Pampore

Srinagar: Hundreds of people in Pampore Friday offered funeral prayers in absentia for those killed in forces firing in Khudwani area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.

Witnesses told Kashmir Reader that soon after the culmination of congregational prayers people assembled and raised anti-India and pro-freedom slogans.
Four civilians were killed in Khudwani Kulgam after they clashed with forces to successfully disrupt their operation against holed up militants.
