Shukara Ride held under ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ campaign at Manasbal Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, SEPT 27【KNZ】:To educate the common masses about the importance of cleanliness and to provide platform to the young talent,Ganderbal District admistration organised musical evening cum Shuraka Ride was held here today under the ongoing ‘Swachhta hi Sewa’ campaign at Manasbal Tourist Resort of Central Kashmir Ganderbal.
A large number of Shukaras from manasbal and adjoining areas participated in the Shukara ride and display banners of Swachhat and musical concert were organised this evening in which thousands take part. Through their art,Music,mesmeric evening the shukara riders spread the message of cleanliness among the visitors.
On the occasion MLA Kangan Mian Altaf Ahmad, District Development Commissioner Ganderbal Dr.Piyush,District President PDP Farooq Ganderbali,SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone,ADC Ganderbal Shahnawaz Bukhari and other officials of District Admistration also take part in shukara ride and appreciated the all for participating in this noble cause.
Renowned singers has conducted a concert by the kashmir State Orchestra .
Singer Sodnari said he had “waited for this moment” for all and hoped “to spread the message of peace,cleanliness and love “.
This is the first time a cultural event of this scale has been held in manasbal Ganderbal.
The concert was broadcast live on dozens of social networking,Tv platforms by Ganderbal Journalist Association.
DC Ganderbal Dr.Piyush said that concert aimed to “reach the hearts of the People/Ganderbalties with a message of hope and encouragement and music is the only language I know and hope to spread the message of ‘Swachhta hi Sewa,peace with this performance”.
