Ganderbal: Sub Divisional Administration Kangan and Police on Thursday evening traced a COVID-19 positive person from Mamer area of Kangan in Ganderbal district.
Sub Divisional Magestrate Kangan , Tanvir Hakim said that the person hails from Gutlibagh Ganderbal and had a travel history from Delhi .
He said that the said person was in the area from last 22 days and was hiding there in his sister’s residence.
Reports said that he was also leading prayers (IMAM) in a local Masjid at Mamer.
“22 persons from their family were quarantined at Manasbal ,” SDM Kangan said adding that the decision of declaring Mamer area as Red Zone will be taken accordingly.
