Ganderbal 4th June, 2021:District Police Ganderbal in its concerted efforts to eradicate menace of drugs from the society, made yet another breakthrough in tackling drug peddlers.
On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Suhail Munawwar Mir-JKPS, a snap naka was established at Badar Kund. During naka checking 01 suspicious person tried to flee away but was intercepted immediately by the Naka personnel and subjected to frisking during which a consignment of 600 grams charas was recovered from his possession.
The said consignment was seized and accused identified as Nisar Ahmad Dar S/o Mohammed Sultan Dar R/o Shahpora Badar Kund who was apprehended on spot and booked in case FIR No. 94/2021 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act registered in P/S Ganderbal.
Locals of the area have hailed this action of Ganderbal Police and expecting that this type of action against drug menace shall continue in the future also.
