Ganderbal, October 06: Continuing its drive against drug menace, Ganderbal police arrested a drug smuggler and recovered Cannabis and Bhung from his possession.
Acting on a specific information, a police party of Police Station Shadipora headed by SI Tawseef Habib laid a naka under the supervision of Dysp Operation Aashiq Hussain on the direction of SSP Ganderbal Mr Fayaz Ahmad Lone.
During Naka 400 grams of Chars in Pure form and 6.5 kg of Dried Bhung was recovered from his possession
The person was identified as Irshad Ahmad Bhat S/O Sonaullah Bhat resident of Kharbag Batwina
In this regard, a case was registered under FIR NO. 205/2017 U/S 8/20 NDPS and investigation has been taken up.
