Ganderbal 31 Aug (KNZ):As it is observed, public throng unnecessarily to the markets and also not following SOP’s/advisories in vogue which surge in number of COVID-19 positive cases in District Ganderbal from recent days.
Whereas District Administration felt expedient to break further transmission of COVID-19 and imposed complete restrictions in prevention of global pandemic w.e.f 29th August to 5th of September, 2020.
As intimated earlier that Police will initiate stringent action against those found guilty of violating the lockdown orders. Ganderbal Police acting tough from day one against the brazen violators to ensure complete implementation of Sec 144 CrPC, in view of continuous surge in number of positive cases due to pandemic disease COVID-19 ,
In this regard, five FIR’s were registered as mentioned below:
- 55/20 U/S 188,269 IPC PS GUND.
- 182/20 U/S 188, 269,270 IPC PS GANDERBAL.
- 183/20 U/S 188,269 IPC PS GANDERBAL.
- 184/20 U/S 188,269,270 IPC GANDERBAL.
- 185/20 U/S 188,269,353 IPC PS GANDERBAL, in which (02) shops, (04) vehicles and (08) persons have been arrested for violating Government restrictions order.
In order to eradicate and to prevent the further spread of deadly virus Ganderbal Police once again requested people to support the administration by way of observing the lockdown and not to venture out of houses unnecessarily for the sake of all otherwise contravention will abide strict action under law.KNZ
