Ganderbal 7 Nov (KNZ):Acting swiftly upon a specific information regarding gambling in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kangan, Police team led by SHO Inspector Turk Zahoor under the supervision of SDPO Kangan Shri Yasir Qadri raided the place at Mammar Kangan and apprehended (02) persons on spot.
The accused persons were identified as:
- Manzoor Ahmad Magray
S/O Abdul Rashid Magray
R/O Padabal Cheerwan - Arshad Ahmad Khan
S/O Ghulam Qadir Khan
R/O Margund Kangan The Stake money of Rs. 10900/- (Ten thousand Nine hundred) and playing cards were also recovered from their possession. In this connection, Case FIR No. 129/2021, U/S 13 Gambling Act registered at Police Station Kangan and investigation taken up.
