Ganderbal 11 Sep (KNZ):In order to make District Ganderbal Covid-19 free Ganderbal Police is continuing its efforts to stop the spread of disease to large extent.
In this context, Ganderbal Police booked a shopkeeper namely Jalal-ud-din Najar S/O Mohammad Sidiq Najar R/O Giraj Ganderbal, who despite being Covid-l9 positive patient violated the SOPs / Guidelines issued by the District Administration and opened his shop at Taj Complex Beeharna Ganderbal.
The said shopkeeper who as per the Directions / Guidelines had to home qurantine himself to prevent the spread of disease but he failed to do so.
To this effect Ganderbal Police registerted a case FIR No. 196/2020 U/S 269, 270 IPC of P/S Gunderbal against the said shopkeeper.
Sr. Superintendent of Police, Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal (JKPS) taking serious note of these violations again urges the people of District Ganderbal to follow the SOP’s / guidelines issued by the Administration in letter and spirit, otherwise strict action will be taken against the violaters as per the law.KNZ
