Ganderbal: In the Jurisdictions of Police Station Ganderbal and Police Station Kheerbawani, Police Parties headed by SHO Inspector Tariq Ahmad and SHO Mudasir Zaroo carried out Bung Destruction Drive along with Excise and Revenue Department in various areas of District Ganderbal .
The Bung destruction drive was carried out in various areas of District Ganderbal Viz. Saloora, Qamaria road, Larsen and other adjacent areas, in which wild Bung was destroyed in a large area.
Working hard towards the objective of Drug free society, District Police Ganderbal is continuously working to eradicate this dreadful menace from the society. The locals of the area have hailed the steps carried out jointly by District Police Ganderbal Excise & Revenue Department Ganderbal.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information related to cultivation of contrabands in their neighbourhoods. Persons found indulging in cultivation of Contraband substances shall be dealt as per law.
