Ganderbal:Ganderbal Police continued stringent action against shopkeepers for violating COVID-19 lockdown norms in which (03) FIR’s were registered in details:
(01) 189/2020 U/S 188,269 IPC P/S Ganderbal.
(02) 69/2020 U/S 188,269 IPC P/S Lar.
(03) 67/2020 U/S 188,269,270 IPC P/S Kangan and two persons were arrested, besides 71 persons were also challaned for not wearing face masks by District Police Ganderbal.
Ganderbal Police as earlier initiated awareness campaigns throughout District about necessity of face masks and people were also warned that action will be taken against them but still people resists from wearing face masks.
SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS, warned violators in an tweet,” More persistent actions will follow”.
People are once again requested to follow the SOP’s/ advisories in prevention of more harsh effect of COVID-19.
