Ganderbal 14 Mar (KNZ): Under Civic Action Program, a special event was organized at District Police Lines Ganderbal in which SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS distributed Computer Systems and Water Dispensers among Institutions, Orphanages and Religious Places of District Ganderbal.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ganderbal Police has took the initiative under Civic Action Program (CAP) to help those institutions and provided them with Computer Systems where Orphans, Poor & Needy students are receiving education. The aforementioned items were distributed to them to ensure smooth education.
Moreover, various Religious Shines/Places of the District were also facilitated with Water Dispensers so that pilgrims visiting them can feel comfortable during Melas & Festivals.
Further, SSP Ganderbal interacted with the Beneficiaries and assured them all possible support from Police department to make their educational institutions & religious places model ones. While interacting with them, he said that the students should be given modern education as well as access to technology.
He also laid stress on the education of Orphans & physically challenged students and asked the Beneficiaries of these institutions to take good care of them. He further stated that Police department will always play its eminent role in providing every possible support to the needy people. He also asked the Beneficiaries not to allow the student’s poverty and orphanage to fall prey off ignorance & illiteracy. Finally, SSP Ganderbal ensured all the beneficiaries that J&K Police will always stay active in their lives in pursuing their good & genuine demands.
Moreover, Addl.SP Ganderbal Shri Feroz Yeyha-JKPS, SDPO Kangan Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS, Dy.SP PC Ganderbal Shri Aftab Bukhari-JKPS & other senior Police officers were also present on the said occassion.KNZ
