Ganderbal :To continue its public outreach programme, Police in Ganderbal facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting in Police Station Kheerbawani. The meeting was organised on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS.
The meeting was chaired by DySP Headquarters Shri Ghulam Hassan-JKPS in which Numberdaar’s and Chowkidars, respectables of the area took part including with people of the adjacent areas.
During the meeting DySP Headquarters Ganderbal discussed thoroughly various issues pertaining to the society with the public. The social issues such as Drug Addiction, Molestation, Theft, Hoarding, Black marketing, Bajri and illegal Sand extraction fom Nallah Sindh, encroachment etc. was the main agenda of the meeting and people were throughly briefed about the ill consequences of these social evils.
The issues related to Civil Administration were also discussed in the meeting and people were assured that their genuine grivences shall be put forward for redressal in letter and spirit.
Moreover, SHO Police Station Kheerbawani Inspector Mudasir Zaroo and other Police officers were also present on the occasion.
The participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to the Police in tackling social evils. They also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meetings where people could express their notions and opinions freely. Finally, Numberdaar’s and Chowkidars thanked Police officers for assuring safety to general people of the District.
