Ganderbal :In order to review the welfare measures, today on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS a meeting with (PROANG) Police Retired Officers Association Non-Gazetted & NOKs of Deceased Police Personnel was held at DPL Ganderbal which was Chaired by Dy.SP DAR Shri Nazir Ahmad.
In the meeting various issues pertaining to them were discussed. The participants who attended meeting were welcomed by the Chairing Officer. He assured them that J&K Police is always at their disposal and asked them not to feel isolated. Further they were assured that they are still part of Police organization and they can approach any Police officer or Police unit at any time.
Representatives of Police Retired Officers Association & NOKs of Deceased Police Personnel put forth various pending issues pertaining to them. They were heard patiently by Dy.SP DAR DPL Ganderbal and were assured full cooperation. It was also made clear in the meeting that they are always welcomed for their valuable suggestions as they have rendered a long service, sacrificed and toiled hard to earn a name for JKP. Further, Chairing Officer stated that various measures are taken by J&K Police department for the welfare of both retired Police personnel as well as NOKs of Deceased Police Personnel. Moreover, the participants in the meeting raised various issues and a patient hearing was given by the chairing officer and they were assured that their genuine demands & problems would be taken up at an appropriate level for their redressal.
Finally, the meeting concluded with vote of thanks from both the sides & Dy.SP DAR Shri Nazir Ahmad assured them that such meetings will be held in future also.
