Ganderbal 09 Oct【KNZ】: Ganderbal police today hold a public Darbar about braid-Chopping in Narayan Bagh and Rabitar , where two incident of braid-Chopping were reported yesterday.
Police officers interact with the public in the two villages and sort cooperation of the public in the investigation of mysterious braid-Chopping incidents.
While interacting with the public DySP Ganderbal Ashiq Hussain,said, “We are working day in and out to solve the mystery of braid-Chopping . People should not take law into their hands.We are here to serve the public .We are part of the society.we need support and cooperation of all of you in dealing with the issue.”
The officer said that public should inform police in case they found any suspicious movement of any person and should refrain from cacaphonic psycosis.
He further added the elders and responsible persons of the society should take the reigns of society into their hands and the activities of miscreants must be discouraged who may take advantage of such incidents by creating law and order problems.”
The public darbar saw overwhelming response of local public . Hundreds participated in the darbar and expressed their anxieties and assured cooperation to Police in the matter.
