Ganderbal 23 Oct【KNZ】:Ganderbal police today hold public Darbar on braid-Chopping in Wakura here.
Police officers interacted with the public in the village and sort cooperation of the public in the investigation of mysterious braid-Chopping incidents.
While interacting with the public Dysp Ganderbal Ashiq Hussain,said, “Confusion is been created in public about police ,Interests of police and public are same .”
“There is some sort of communication gap between public and police.We are here to overcome that.”He further Said.
On recent incident in wakoora, when two innocent person were critically injured who were suspected as braid-Choppers,Dysp Said.”We can’t book innocents in briad-chopping cases .We need credible proof about braid-Chopping . We are working round the clock to solve braid-Chopping mystery.Public have to cooperate with us , other wise it would be anarchy.”
The officer said that public should inform police in case they found any suspicious movement of any person around their locality.
He further added the elders and responsible persons from the society should take the reigns of society into their hands and the activities of miscreants must be discouraged who may take advantage of such incidents by creating law and order problems.”
The public darbar saw over whelming response of local public . Hundreds participated in the darbar and expressed their anxieties and assured corporation to Police in the matter.
Dysp Ashiq Hussain was accompanied by DO Shadipora Showkat Ahmad during public darbar.
