Ganderbal 26-06-2020 : On the eve of International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking on 26-06-20 Ganderbal Police took an initiative to aware general public about misuse of drugs and its impact among youth. In this regard a signature campaign was started at Safapora, in which all respectable of the area participated and conveyed that they will extend their support to control drug menace. Social distance was maintained during the campaign. A rally was organised in Kangan market to bring awareness amongst youth of the region.
On the occasion SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal (JKPS) requested all the parents to keep close watch on their wards, their peer groups, activities and behavior on day to day basis. So that they do not get involved in anti-social activities.
People of the area highly appreciated this move of Ganderbal Police.
