Ganderbal :In a solemn tribute to the brave hearts & paying respect and honour to the ultimate sacrifice of our National freedom fighters, two-minutes silence was observed in all Police establishments of District Ganderbal.
The main event was held at DPO Ganderbal & DPL Ganderbal in which officers and Jawans observed two minutes silence in the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the nation.
Senior officers while addressing the police officers and jawans highlighted the values of truthfulness, perseverance and struggle of freedom fighters.
They also threw light on the relevance of observing the day in remembrance of the freedom fighters who laid their lives for achieving the freedom.
Similarly, two minutes silence was also observed in Police Stations & Police Posts of the District in which officers and Jawans observed two minutes silence to commemorate the Brave Hearts.
