Ganderbal:On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, Ganderbal Police today organised a Seminar on the topic “National Security” at Govt. Degree College Ganderbal. The aim of organizing the said event was to spread the message of spirit of patriotism, unity and to remember the sacrifices of Police Martyrs for their courage, valour & sacrifices they made for the unity and integrity of the Nation as well as in protecting the life & property of the people.
On the said occasion, the speakers presented lectures & enlightened the audience about facts of National Security & the future road ahead. They also spoke about the contribution & role of J&K Police in maintaining National Security in the entire UT. Professors, Lecturers, PRIs, Social Activists, College Students & other respectable citizens were also present in the seminar. Dy.SP DAR Shri Nazir Ahmad thanked the Guest speakers & other participants for participating and making the event successful.
Moreover,Painting Competition was held at Manasbal Park under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqr’s Ganderbal Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS in which Students of various educational institutions participated with huge enthusiasm & zeal. The participants portrayed colourful & multi-dimensional paintings which reflected extra-ordinary messages on different themes. At the conclusion of the Painting Competition, First Three Postion holders were awarded with Suitable Cash Prizes, Momentos & Appreciation Certificates.
