Ganderbal 25 September: On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, Ganderbal Police under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahatsav” organized an awareness programme under the theme “Police in Amrit Kall” for the students at Police Station Safapora.
The programme was chaired by Dy.SP Hqr’s Ganderbal Shri Ghulam Hassan-JKPS, besides SHO PS Safapora Insp. Gulzar Ahmad & other senior officers were also present on the said occasion. The programme has actively been participated by Students of Govt. Hr. Sec School Safapora, Govt. Girls High School Safapora, Angel Care Public School, Valley Lakes Educational Institute and New Delight Educational Hall. The programme garnered a vibrant atmosphere of learning. This heartening response was heartily welcomed by District Police Ganderbal, emphasizing the importance of nurturing community connections.
To acquaint participants with the functioning of the police and the services they provide, the programme took students on an insightful journey. They explored the SHO Office, MHC Office & the CCTNS Lab, gaining invaluable insights into the multi-faceted realm of police operations. In the end, students have been facilitated with necessary refreshments and decent lunch at PS Safapora and have also been awarded participation certificates to boost their morale for their future participation.
