Ganderbal:Ganderbal Police today organised an awareness Programme on the New Criminal Laws at Govt. Degree College Kangan. The event was organised under the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS,under the supervision of SDPO Kangan Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS.
The Programme was attended by Principal Degree College Kangan Prof Sadaf Nazir, Assistant Professors Waseem Yaseen, Zahoor Ahmad Dar, Sr.PO Ganderbal Shri Abdul Aziz Zaindari, Law instructor PTS Manigam Inspector Mudasir Hameed, SHO PS Kangan, other senior Police officers, Lecturers & Students of Degree College Kangan. The event also witnessed significant participation from renowned educationists and Media persons.
On the said occasion, SDPO Kangan Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS talked about the amended criminal laws and asked the participants that these new laws are being implemented for speedy justice and are time bound.
Moreover, Expert speakers Sr.PO Ganderbal & Law instructor from PTS Manigam provided the participants with a basic understanding of the new Criminal Laws, namely Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.
The participants present in the event appreciated the role of Ganderbal Police in organising such an important event & Principal Degree College Kangan extended her heartiest vote of thanks at the conclusion of the Event.
