Ganderbal:In Continuation to PoliceFlag DayWeek-2024; in the loving memory of Police Martyrs & as a tribute to their sacrifices, today Ganderbal Police organized Marathon, RunForUnity” from Repora to Police Station Lar in which School Students, Youth of the District participated with huge enthusiasm and zeal & zest. Besides Officers & Officials of District Police also participated in the event.
The Marathon was flagged off by Dy.SP DAR DPL Ganderbal Nazir Ahmad accompanied by other senior Police officers of the District.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ganderbal Police is organising different Sports events like volleyball, Singing Competition, Marathon & other co-curricular activities in the District for a week long period. These different events will culminate on 31st October 2024. The Police Flag Day week is dedicated to all the Police Martyrs who have sacrificed their lives in the service of nation.
At the conclusion of the event, 1st, 2nd & 3rd position holders were awarded with Cash Prizes & Appreciation Certificates.
