Ganderbal 8 Feb:As a part of public outreach programme, Police in Ganderbal facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Station Kangan.
The meeting was organised on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols.
In this meeting, the members of trade union Baapar Mandal and , Shopkeers of kangan market took part.
SHO Police Station Kangan briefed the shopkeeprs of the market to install the CCTV cameras in the premises of their shops .The Shopkeers assured that the CCTV cameras will be installed in every complex.
The members also said that there is more need of same meetings in future along with officers of civil Department so that their genuine issues would be solved without any delay.
Moreover, the meeting was also attended by elders and youths of Kangan and they discussed various other social issues of the society like Drugs, encroachment, and so on.
Finally, the participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to Police in tackling social evils and ANEs They also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants could express their notions and opinions freely.
