Ganderbal 10 Feb:As a part of public outreach programme, Police in Ganderbal facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Station kheerbawani.
The meeting was organised on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols.
In this meeting, the respectable members of local public, trade union and Shopkeers took part. During the meeting, SHO Police Station kheerbawani discussed various social issues of the society with the gatherings to which they respond in letter and spirit.
The genuine issues of the public were also discussed thoroughly. The crime related issues such as drug menace, traffic management, encroachment, and other issues were also discussed.
Finally, the participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to Police in tackling social evils. They also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants could express their notions and opinions freely.
