Ganderbal 02 Oct (KNZ):Every year on 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated across country as the Jayanti of the father of the Nation, in this connection District Police Ganderbal organized a Swachhta Pledge and Swachhta Abhiyan in all establishments of District Police Ganderbal and the main ceremony was held at District Police Lines Ganderbal.
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti Swachhta Pledge, Additional Superintendent of Police Ganderbal Shri Feroz Yehya-JKPS took an oath alongwith Police officers that every Police establishments as well as every Police personnel will intimate the quest for cleanliness with ourselves, our family, our locality, our village with an firm belief and encourage other persons to take this pledge, as endeavour them to devote their time for cleanliness. These steps will help in making our country clean. He also exhorted Police personnel’s to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of a clean and hygienic Nation.
In this Swachhta Pledge Additional Superintendent of Police Ganderbal was accompanied with DySP HQRS Ganderbal, DySP DAR Ganderbal, DySP PC Ganderbal and other officers/ officials participated in this event.
Later on Additional Superintendent of Police Ganderbal with other officers cleaned up the surrounding area of District Police Lines Ganderbal.KNZ
