Ganderbal 11 Sep (KNZ):Stringent action continues against the persons involved in illegal practice of extraction of Minor Minerals & its further transportation within the district.
On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS; Ganderbal Police seized 07 Tippers & arrested 07 Persons for illegal extraction of Minor Minerals in the jurisdiction of PS Ganderbal & PP Nagbal. The Police Parties led by SHO PS Ganderbal & IC PP Nagbal under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqr’s Ganderbal caught hold of the below mentioned persons who were involved in illegal extraction of Minor Minerals i.e, Sand/Boulders/Soil along with the tippers.
They have been identified as Aadil Ahmad Buhroo S/O AB Ahad Buhroo R/O Bamloora Gbl,Manzoor Ahmad Khoroo
S/O Abdul Satar Khoroo R/O Saloora Gbl,Mehraj ud Din Mir S/O AB Ahad Mir R/O Saloora Gbl,Altaf Ahmad Dar S/O Ab Ahad Dar R/O Malpora Gbl,Rayees Ah Bhat S/O Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat R/O Bobispora Gbl, Altaf Ahmad Wani S/O Gh Nabi Wani R/O Nunar Gbl and Gh Mohammad S/O Gh Mohi-ud-Din

In this regard, Case FIR No.s 255 & 257 of 2023 under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Ganderbal & further investigation taken up.
Ganderbal Police requests general public to refrain from the illegal practice of extraction of Minor Minerals, otherwise strict action against the culprits will continue in future also.KNZ
