March 13: Acting on specific information about illegal selling of subsidized kerosene oil in black market, a Police party led by SHO Gund Inspector Sajad Hussain conducted search in the residential house of Mohd Ibrahim Bokda son of Sayed Bokda at Sumbal Bala and seized 1000 liters of Kerosene oil from his house.
Case FIR No. 07/2020 under relevant section of law has been registered at P/S Gund.
The accused has been arrested and shifted to police station where he remains in custody. Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused was involved in illegal selling of subsidized Kerosene oil in black market. Source of procurement of subsidized Kerosene oil is also being investigated and the officials involved in facilitating black marketing shall also be dealt as per law.
Further investigation into the matter is in progress.
