Ganderbal 01 Jan【KNZ】: Ganderbal police solved theft case by arrested burglar and recovered stolen television set
Police Station Gund received complaint regarding the burglary incidents in the Jamia Masjid Gund by unknown person.The unknown Burglars tried to break open the safe of the masjid however the attempt was unsuccessful.
The CCTV cameras installed in the masjid as well as the recording equipment were found damaged and a television set attached to the CCTV cameras was found stolen.
Accordingly a team headed by SHO Gund was constituted and investigation was set into motion.
During the course of investigation, the team zeroed on one person during questioning, they revealed that they are involved in burglary case.
The accused was identified as Zahoor Ahmad Yatoo S/O: Sanaullah Yatoo R/O: Yechama Kangan and recovered television set in a broken state.
Gund Police have registered a case in this regard under FIR No. 35/2017 and investigations are going on.KNZ
