Ganderbal:Today on 29.11.2024, around 0930 hours, Police Station Kheerbawani received information through reliable sources that some unknown persons have broken the lock of the donation box of Zirayat Baba Hyder Shrine located at Tulamulla and have stolen the Cash fom the box.
Accordingly, Case FIR No. 52/2024 under relevant sections of law was registered at PS Kheerbawani and investigation was set into motion.
Acting Swiftly, Ganderbal Police constituted a Special Police team to nab the culprits involved in the commission of the crime. After strenuous efforts, Police Party of PS Kheerbawani apprehended one person namely Parveez Ahmad Saed S/O Ghulam Ahmad saed R/O Narayan Bagh Ganderbal. On his disclosure, Stolen Cash Rs/- 24600 and some newly purchased clothes from stolen cash were recovered. The accused confessed to his crime as well.
General Public hailed the efforts of Ganderbal Police for swift action in solving the theft case within 02 hours of the theft.
