GANDERBAL: Ganderbal Police solved 04 Burglary cases and arrested 08 accused persons involved in the crime. 12 No’s of Batteries, 01 Golden coin and 03 Cows and 01 Calf were recovered from their possession.
On 03-09-2022, Police Station Ganderbal received two written Complaints, one regarding Burglary of Batteries at Govt. High School Kujjar Ganderbal. The 2nd Complaint was recieved from Saloora Ganderbal regarding the theft of Gold from a residential house. Accordingly, Case FIR No.s 257/2022 and 146/2022 under relevant sections of law were registered in PS Ganderbal and further investigation was set into the motion.
Further, two complaints from Tengpora village were lodged in PS Ganderbal regarding theft of Cows & Calf from Cowsheds. Accordingly, FIR No.s 216/2022 Dated 04-08-2022 and 240/2022 Dated 21-08-2022 under relevant sections of law were registered at Police Station Ganderbal and further course of investigation was initiated.
Accordingly SSP Ganderbal constituted a special team led by SHO Ganderbal under the supervision of DySP HQRs. In a quick action the team cracked all the 04 Burglary cases and arrested 08 persons involved in the Burglaries.The accused Burglars were identified as Zahoor Ahmad Najar S/O Gh Mohd Najar R/o Fethapora Ganderbal. Asif Hussain Yatoo S/O Gh Hassan Yatoo R/o. Sultanpora Baramulla. Safikul Islam S/o Umer Ali R/o Delhi A/P Beehama Ganderbal. Kutab u Din S/o Mannan R/o Delhi A/P. Beehama Ganderbal. Rubul Mestry S/o Shams ud Din Mestry R/o Gurgaon Haryana A/P Beehama Ganderbal. Muneer Ahmad Famda S/o. Ghulam Younis Famda R/o Sarafraw Kangan. Mohd Shabir Magray S/o Mohd Shafi Magray R/o Sahardhaka Udhampur. Shakeel Ahmad Bijad S/o Mohd Ishaq Bijad R/o Judiyal Rojouri
Moreover, Vehicle- Auto Bearing Regd. No. JK01P- 4078 which was used in the theft of Batteries was also recovered and seized from the possession of accused persons.
