Ganderbal: The Ganderbal Press association on Friday held a meeting presided over by the President Mr Mir Aftab Ahmad.
The meeting was attended by the executive council members including Vice president Ghulam Nabi Raina Kashmir uzma, General secretary Saleem wani Gulistan News, Treasurer Raja Syed KNO News agency & Spokesperson Hadi Hidayat ANN News.
The members held a detailed discussion regarding the welfare of the association and some important decisions were taken in the meeting.
The executive council inducted some members to Advisory body which include Mr Adil mustafa, Mr Ayaz sofi, Mr Raja irshad, Mr Mukhtar shah and Aqib Rasool, Ayaz Sofi was appointed as the head of advisory body while firdous ahmad Tantray was appointed as office incharge.
The body will also find a space for the Head office at Ganderbal and Branch office at Kangan which will provide a suitable environment for the office operations.
The membership will remain closed for three months from the date of elections, once the membership drive opens the general information for the people associated with the press/media will be notified.
