Ganderbal Jan 08【KNZ】:Two months long sports festival today concluded amid much fan fare in Shaheed Showket Stadium Gadoora here.
On the concluding day two finals match of Kabbadi and tug of war were played.
Two month long sports festival saw participation of hundreds of players in various sports which include Football, Kabbadi Tug of War and Badminton.
DIG Central Kashmir Ghulam Hassan Bhat was chief guest on the concluding ceremony. On the occasion DIG CKR said that the sports is vital for overall development of individual personality and they are trying there best to channelize energy of youth in right direction. There endeavor will continue to provide platform to youth in sports.
DIG CKR along with SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad lone distbuted prise among winners and runners up.
Journalists were also falicitated by Ganderbal police for contribution in development and promotion of sports.
SHO Ganderbal Akash Kohli, DySP Ganderbal Ashiq Hussain, DySP Ganderbal headquarter, Utkarsh Duggal, among other police officials were present on the occasion.
The sports festival was organized by Ganderbal police under civic action program.【KNZ】
