SRINAGAR 8 October: Awami Itihad party(AIP) youth leader and social activist Syed Aijaz kashani has paid rich tribute to Shaheed Junaid Ahmed Akhoon on his martyrdom anniversary.He said “the cops involved in brutal killing of Shaheed Junaid Ahmed Akhoon a 12 year old school boy and class 7th student of Saidapora, Eidgah in downtown Srinagar during 2016 peaceful agitation whose killers are still roaming scout free.Syed Aijaz kashani while expressing displeasure over the state’s government failure in bringing culprits to book.
Syed Aijaz kashani said Shaheed Junaid Ahmed Akhoon of Eidgah Srinagar was allegedly hit by pellets on his chest and his Head inside his home by the forces and was killed brutally adding that it was a cold-blooded murder and those culprits who killed innocent Junaid Ahmed Akhoon must be panished.He said while goverment forces crossed all limits of brutality and even state police fired pallets and shells on people who were carrying his body. Syed Aijaz Kashani said Shaheed Junaid Ahmed, son of Ghulam Ahmed Akhoon, was the only son of his parents among three children after receiving pellet injuries on his head and chest, he was rushed to SKIMS in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.Added that State government rather hiding their failure should come and solve the long pending kashmir issue, and shouldn’t forget the secrificises given by innocient kashmiri for solving the long pending and vexed issue.KNZ
