Srinagar, Aug 27 : Kashmir’s longest serving Governor N N Vohra flew home Monday morning.
He was seen off by three advisers of the new governor K Vijay Kumar, B B Vyas and Khursheed A Gania at the airport along with the district officers of the Budgam district, where the airport is located.
Vohra drove to the airport from Raj Bhawan where he was putting up in an annexe for last few days to oversee his belongings being shifted. At the airport, at around 9:30 am, he took off in the state plane.
Vohra was appointed Jammu Kashmir Governor in 2008. (CNS)
