Ganderbal 23 June (KNZ): Government forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Cherwan village of Kangan in Ganderbal District on Sunday morning .
A police official said that a joint search operation was launched by Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police, Army’s 24 RR in the Cherwan Kangan
Large numbers of government forces were involved in the search operations.
However, no contact was established with the militants during searches.
When contacted SSP Ganderbal Mr Khalil Ahamd Poswal told Kashmir News Zone-KNZ that the General search is going on, “General search is being conducted in the area”
