Ganderbal 05 Aug (KNZ):Residents of Gulabagh Potermulla area of Manasbal in Ganderbal District are up in arms against R&B department for dilapidated condition of link road for last 20 years in the area.
Local people said that 1 kilometers long link road from Potermulla which connects several villages is completely dilapidated and the concern authorities have been turning a blind eye towards it and have not taken any development works or resurfacing of the road in the area, resulting the population of thousands of people are facing hardships.
Local Deputy Sarpanch Bilal Ahmad said that despite being just 8 kms away from the District our area is being ignored.The pedestrians and commuters in our area are facing huge inconvenience.During rains, there is water logging and it is difficult to move out.
The residents also said that that they reached out to officials from R&B department who said they will fix the road but Concerned officials are not paying heed while we are suffering.
The people have to undergo a lot trouble and in case of any health emergency or maternity cases they suffer a lot.
Residents appealed DC Ganderbal and Executive Engineer R&B to look into the matter.
Executive Engineer R&B Ganderbal Tathheer Manzoor while talking on phone said we will see the issue and assured problem will resolved soon.KNZ
