Bandipora Oct 29 [KNZ]: Acting on a specific information SOG Bandipora and 13 RR of Army cordoned off Mir Mohalla area of Hajin in Bandipora district.
As the Goverment forces intensified searches towards suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon Goverment forces triggering an encounter.
As per sources on SOG personal of JK police was injured. Till this report was filed exchange of firing was going on.
Meanwhile near the Encounter site clashes also erupted between Goverment forces and protesters and protesters. (GNS)
