(Hadiths related to Jerusalem)
Abu Thar narrated, I said,
”O Allah’s Messenger (PBUH)! Which mosque was built first?”
He replied, “Al-Masjid Al-Haram.”
I asked, “Which was built next?”
He replied, “Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem).”
I asked, “What was the period in between them?”
He replied, “Forty years.”
He then added, “Wherever the time of prayer comes, perform it, as all the earth is suitable for prayer and considered as a Masjid.”
