Ganderbal 11 Dec【KNZ】: Residents of Ganderbal are up in arms agains Municipal committee Ganderbal, accusing it of not lifting garbage regularly, near Ganderbal highway in Beehama area here.
Local residents said “Heaps of garbage is lying open near Highway and foul smell from it is ireking pedestrians , commuters and local residents”.
“It is causing health problems to pedestrians as well as the local people.”They said
Bilal Mohiuddin, a pedestrians said, “Garbage on the road side is attracting dogs . Student are scared of passing on the road . Dogs are danger for school going kids there.”
Muzaffar Rehman, a commuter said ,”Dogs some time jump on vehicles , which can cause fatal accidents . Municipal committee should wake-up as soon as possible and lift the garbage regularly”
When News Agency Kashmir News Zone【KNZ】 contacted G M lone Executive office Municipal committee Ganderbal, he said, “I acknowledge that there are some lapses on our part .We are trying our best to lift the garbage as soon as possible .I have recently joined as executive officer .Give me ten days every thing Will be on track.”
