Onset of Southwest Monsoon in Jammu and Kashmir Likely Around June 25th
The weather forecasts have undergone a lot of changes in the past week. The prevailing dry weather conditions are anticipated to persist until the upcoming weekend, due to which Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience a significant rise in temperature. In Kashmir valley plains, temperatures may cross 34°C, while in Jammu plains, daytime temperatures could potentially reach up to 43°C.
The southwest monsoon is anticipated to arrive around Sunday. From Sunday evening to Wednesday, there is a high likelihood of rain showers in most areas of Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu region is expected to receive the maximum amount of precipitation during this time.
